How to Uninstall Android Apps on Windows 11

Clean up the mess of unnecessary Android apps installed on your Windows 11 PC.

Windows 11 supports Android apps through Amazon Appstore. You can install an Android app either from the Amazon Appstore or even from the Microsoft Store.

With so many additional choices of apps, you are bound to try some. However, that doesn’t mean your computer has to be a permanent home for them. In order to save your precious resources, it is always recommended to uninstall the apps you do not use.

Moreover, to add to the user’s ease of convenience, you uninstall Android apps right from the Start Menu or from the Settings app on your device depending upon your preference, and we are going to discuss both of these methods in this guide.

In case you have been looking for a way to uninstall Android apps from your PC, you have landed on the right page.

Uninstall Android Apps Right from the Start Menu

This method is suitable when you do not wish to see the list of all installed apps and already know the app you wish to uninstall. That being said, this is one of the most convenient methods to uninstall any Android app from your system.

To do so, open up the Start Menu by clicking on the respective icon present on the taskbar of your Windows 11 machine.

Then, type the name of the app you desire to uninstall. For example, here we will be uninstalling the ‘Among Us’ app.

Once the search results have been populated, locate the app tile and right-click on it. Then, choose the ‘Uninstall’ option from the context menu. This will bring up an overlay prompt on your screen.

Alternatively, you can also click on the ‘Uninstall’ button present on the right section of the search results. This will also bring up an overlay prompt on your screen.

From the prompt, click on the ‘Uninstall’ button to uninstall the app.

Uninstall Android Apps from the Settings

Uninstalling apps from the Settings app is relatively a bit lengthier process. However, it will suit you perfectly if you wish to remove more than one Android app from your system.

To do so, head to the Start Menu, and click on the Settings tile present on the flyout.

Next, click on the ‘Apps’ tile present on the left sidebar of the Settings window.

Then, click on the ‘Apps & features’ tile to the left of the window.

Now, you can search for an app using the ‘search bar’ present right underneath the ‘App list’ label.

Alternatively, you can also scroll down to locate the app manually from the alphabetically ordered list.

Once you have located the app you wish to uninstall, click on the kebab menu icon (three vertical dots) present on the far right edge of each app tile and choose the ‘Uninstall’ option. This will bring up an overlay prompt on your screen.

Finally, from the prompt, click on the ‘Uninstall’ button to remove the app from your machine.

If you wish to uninstall more android apps, you can locate or search the apps and repeat the process till you have uninstalled all of the undesired apps from your system.
